The authors encourage people to spread the word of a specific day in which they want you to buy the book on Amazon. If successful, the book will climb up the ranks of the best selling books with the goal to reach number one. Being number one in a category is often a very profitable marketing strategy, and this tactic aims to achieve it, at least for a short time.
